The Coldture Pro chilling system, supplied by LeisureCraft for the Canadian Timber cold plunge line — the larger of the two chillers offered for these tubs.

A cold plunge tub does not cool water on its own. The tub holds water; the chiller is what brings it down and holds it there. If you are buying a Baltic or Polar and you want it to run cold year-round, you need one of these or the Penguin.

Fits. LeisureCraft Baltic Plunge Tub and Polar Plunge Tub.

Placement. A chiller must sit within 3 feet of the tub drain, with its base at or below the base of the tub — the system primes by gravity. Filtration is required; without it the heat exchanger can clog and the unit can be damaged.
